Irbesartan, which is a type of angiotensin II receptor antagonists same as varsartan (LC technical notes No. 99), is used mainly for the treatment of hypertension.
In this note, chromatograms of irbesaratn based on the condition described in the United States Pharmacopeia (USP) are shown. Using Inertsil ODS-4, sharp peak was obtained because of its inertness.
